The Story
Let's have an uncomfortable conversation...
Partnering up with University of Leeds and Synergi, we explore the uncomfortable yet crucial conversations around the social injustice of ethnic inequalities in mental health care. The film includes quotes from mental health practitioners and a set of communication principles proposed by the researchers.

Key questions explored in the research and film

The Research
Concluded that by focusing on texture and imperfect lines, we can stand out from the clean and vector style of visuals in the mental health sector.
The Approach
Using plant imagery to
convey themes such as the passing of time, human traits and skin colour in an elegant, candid way.
The Results
While still in the process of dissemination with plans of passing it on to key practitioners in the sector, the film collected an overwhelmingly positive result from the clients.
